CORE TEMPERATURE REDUCTION

Kalmatron® KF-A causes a 4-step reaction process to occur. One of the steps is the oxidation of metal containing elements, not just the cement, in the concrete. The timing of this reaction occurs during the most intense heat increase level in the concrete. The result is up to two times lower heat emissions from the exothermic reaction, because that part of the energy is taken for oxidation. This benefit is greatly needed in mass pour construction.
