Shotcreting the Aqueduct
Prior to choosing Kalmatron®, LADWP researched numerous products. They chose Kalmatron® because of its waterproofing capabilities, it's extremely high resistance to corrosive materials, and because it is NSF 61 potable water safe certified.
As you can see, the aqueduct had some major issues prior to the application of Kalmatron®.

Shotcreting with Kalmatron® is a breeze with no clogs in the hose, and very little rebound.
