Shotcrete Technologies did an emergency repair project for the Coloroda D.O. T. on I-70 with Kalmatron® KF-A.

Two times lower shrinkage and exothermic heat of concrete mix with KF-A allows for application on structures under hydraulic pressure. With normal sorption ability below 2%, concrete made with KF-A provides absolute water impermeability with a 1˝ - 2" application - great for wine caves and other tunnels with water problems.
The Engineers on the Colorado DOT project were very impressed with Kalmatron's® ability to reduce the exothermic heat. It was 90° + outside, the mixer had been mixing for a while, and on three different readings of the concrete's temperature in the truck, the readings were only 78°
