KALMATRON® BLOCK

DESCRIPTION OF BLOCK

Concrete Masonry Units (CMU) are available in standard dimensions with different shapes and volumes of air-enclosed space for use in diverse climates.  Masonry construction is afforded a higher heat transfer resistance, absolute impermeability and structural stability.

BENEFITS

• Installation of BLOCK provides higher resistance to heat transfer, impermeability of liquids and stability of masonry structures without additional technologies and applications.

• Eliminates condensation on the surfaces of walls and corners.

• Applicable in any climate with recommendations from SPE.

USES OF BLOCK

• Used for structures which are in contact with water, humidity and soil moisture, such as draw-wells, drainages, channels, underground walls, sea-shore structures, house walls, etc.

• Improves the standard project's construction against explosions and earthquakes and increases waterproofing.

• Improves heat transfer resistance of standard civil and industrial projects.

• Through special order, the CMU provides protection from X-ray penetration and high temperatures.
